The Rundown: The Twins go hunting, Grog and Scanlan seek a meeting while Tiberius and Keyleth follow a lead.

Tiberius and Keyleth find themselves in a clandestine meeting with the leader of the local Clasp who is torturing a prisoner for information. After getting the information they need, Keyleth and Tiberius are in the middle of another tense situation that will ultimately lead them to set out to find the local alchemist to discover what he knows about the poison being dumped in the Muck.
Vex and Vax are beneath the city in the sewers also following the alchemist when they discover assassins in the sewers as well. Grog and Scanlan make it to the alchemist first and take the book he was using. A book that the twins are after as well as the four of them are attacked by assassins and a powerful magic user.
The Story: Mercer and Colville create a fun, thrilling action packed adventure in this issue. I continue to love exploring the early adventures of Vox Machina and seeing the moments that slowly bring them together as a group. The story is entertaining and filled with great action and world building as events bring the characters together to face a common foe.
The Art: Samson delivers fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the visual style and the character designs immensely. I also loved the graph paper visual inserts and how they both compliment the story and remind the reader where all of this started. A fantastic looking issue.
